Just a reminder: No matter how much you wish violence upon someone, no matter how evil and vile and reprehensible they are, no matter how sure you are that they deserve to be removed from this earth, either by intentional action or happenstance, Beige Party is not the platform for expressing this opinion.

I can make a lot of compelling moral arguments for this position, but the most immediate and salient point is that advocating for violence in general, and political violence in particular, puts you, me, and the entire instance in legal jeopardy. Don't do it.

understood. I will keep every truth I ever speak in defense of justice and innocent lives off your server.

Dude, you’re being a supercilious twat. The admin is right. @theropologist

An anonymous exhortation to murder from an anonymous account hidden behind the safety and comfort of a keyboard is not the equal to a noble and courageous personal defense of actual human lives or of justice, in my view. Furious words do not have to be the same as death threats or exhortations to violence.

This kind of online behavior is evidence of the gamification of courage and honor into anonymous death threats. Precisely what the Catholic Bishops (by real names - Cupich, Tobin, McElroy) condemned in the Trump admin "dehumanizing rhetoric" about their murderous targeting of Iranian civilians.

I respect just fury against injustice, it's why I follow you. I understand the power imbalance between an armed government power and an individual, and the safety of a masked opposition. But the fact remains that Anonymous death threats made online on someone else's platform exhorting others to commit acts of murder, and expecting someone else to pay the price for executing that threat or disseminating that threat is not evidence of justice or courage of conviction in my view.

You are clearly free to vehemently disagree and make an opposing argument. There are any number of platforms whose rules of behavior are different, and that allow direct death threats or exhortations to violence... I left Twitter because they did.

We can each change.
