Finally got some not-crappy news on the the #fuckcancer front. Recent CT scan showed tumors in my pelvis and lungs had slowed their growth significantly but (there is always a "butt" with ass cancer), they found "an unknown mass" near my pancreas. Oh goody.

Normally the docs would write it off as a fatty mass and check in six months but with my track record it took very little convincing to schedule an endoscopy. This will be "fun" I thought - never had one before, always the other end. They assured me they use a different camera for that end...

Doc did not wait to submit results, got them immediately while in post-op and reassured me it was just a fatty mass and not spread of my cancer. Finally, some news that did not suck!

The #cancer is still there, almost six years since diagnosis, trying to grow and spread but I keep pushing back. Not today, cancer, not today. Thanks @BobHorowitz for reminding me to celebrate the wins.
