Cartoons, fairytales and dark fantasy
At one point I was doing a few illustrations inspired by Finnish folklore.
First one is a depiction of the gate to the underworld with a swan of Tuonela. In folklore, water is associated as a divider between the realms of the living and the dead.
Second one depicts a firefox, said to be rare and precious.
Third one is Kokko or "vaakalintu", large mythical eagle, similar to thunderbird.
