I had an inductive probe go bad on my 3D printer go bad and I can't really account for why. I just get to be glad that it came in a 2-pack so I have a replacement and it was pretty cheap.

I should probably order a better inductive sensor and get my other printers running before the replacement fails.

However, that printer did not miss a beat once I put the replacement sensor in. I though for sure that I'd have to at least futz with the Z-offset, but I got a good first layer without adjustment.
