FWIW I still hope Elon succeeds with Twitter. Why wish failure on anyone? But for me, not letting people post links to their other accounts was just too much.

Must be especially bad given that almost everyone is either laying off, or at least doing a hiring freeze. :(

I was looking for a job just recently, in March-April and the job market was insanely hot and employee-friendly those few months ago. Companies would throw money at you and try to outbid each other.

This shows how we (people in tech) live in a privileged bubble, but the privilege might end any day.
Appreciate what you have, and have backup plans.
