I love #tech, and have enjoyed #computers since the #bbcmicro. I was a #software engineer and am now a #CTO; I love working in tech whilst not actually programming myself any more

 I’m also into #books and #words, #fountainpens, mechanical watches, popular #science, #coffee and #cats. I’m #Cornish and believe the UK should never have even contemplated leaving the EU.

@Klara @eltonfc This strikes me as a good example. “Compose“ couldn’t be the imperative because the computer won’t be composing the message: the user will. So by using it you’re expressing a desire not issuing a command.
