I have Prosopagnosia (face blindness) and worked with someone today (just us) for 8 hours. I was fairly sure (fortuitously I saw their log in name on a computer) that it wasn't a person who has the same name who I have known for years, and I generally recognise.
She told me some work history, which I think I'd heard before, but that isn't so embarrassing.
Having lots of people who look remarkably similar (same ethnic background, haircut- even personality) is challenging for people like me.

my own siblings and my own children cannot seem to believe I am as non aggressive as I am, my own children who I never hit or shouted at, seem to have to believe I “wanted to,” and somebody else stopped me or something. “I” stopped HER.

All I’m saying, and I’m sorry to say it, it’s an indictment of the whole damned species, but what do you say about a species that doesn’t believe in the exiistence or the possibility of not hurting children, a species that doesn’t believe there could be one person who really thinks you shouldn’t?

The destruction of support for #ActuallyAutistic people across Wales lately is both predictable and depressing.

If you have spoons, please write to your MS (and MP and Wes fucking Streeting) to complain about lack of support, reduction of funding for Autism services including diagnosis (https://toot.wales/@alexisbushnell/116216233460370957) and generally how hostile Wales is becoming to Autistic people.
